Education on all mentioned specialties (or directions of development) of the bachelors, experts and masters is carrying on here. Education on all specialists of qualifying levels (expert and master) is carrying out on a competitive basis after successful completion of education on qualifying level - bachelor (under the government regulation of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine of the 24.05.1997 N 507, "About the list of directions and specialties of education of specialists in the universities according to qualifying levels").

The citizenry of Ukraine, foreigners and stateless persons (that are residing in Ukraine for long) that have completed secondary education can be admitted to the first course. Admission and education of citizenry of foreign countries is carrying on according to the Low of Ukraine: "About the legal status of foreigners", government regulation of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine of the 26.02.1993 ?. No. 136 "About education of the foreign citizenry in Ukraine ", Decree of the President of Ukraine of the 25 of March, 1994, No. 112/94 " About measures concerning development of economic cooperation of areas of Ukraine with adjacent areas of Russia" , Decree "About admission and education of foreigners and stateless persons to the universities" approved by the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine of the 05.08.1998. No. 1238.

On leaving secondary schools (complete secondary education) the persons that were awarded with the gold (silver) medals, or the persons that have completed higher educational institutions of first or second accreditation level and were awarded with the gold (silver) medals, or the persons that have completed vocational education successfully (gold or silver medals), their first exam is the one that is marked with a badge star *. If they get excellent mark (a grade of A) they are released from the further entrance examinations. These persons can be enlisted on the appropriate specialties by results of interview.

If the persons have completed higher educational institutions of first or second accreditation level on base of secondary school program (complete secondary education) and were awarded with the gold (silver) medals, then the procedure, described in the previous paragraph, can be applied when chosen university specialty is corresponding to the obtained profession.

The winners and awardees (1-3 prizes) of international, state and regional Olympiads (in Crimea - republican Olympiads, in Sevastopol - city Olympiads) can be enlisted on the appropriate specialties without taking entrance examinations by results of their interview. These regulations concern only participants of the Olympiads that were conducted by the Ministry of Education of Ukraine and those participants were final-year pupils of the secondary schools.

Above-mentioned regulations also concern the winners of the Kyiv State university Olympiads on mathematics (if they enter the faculty of cybernetics, mechanics-mathematical, radiophysical, physical, chemical faculty). Besides the regulations also concern the winners of the third stage of National contests of scientific research works of pupils that are members of the Small Academy of Sciences of Ukraine.

The graduates of Kyiv university Physico-mathematical Lyceum (and schools that have agreement with the university) have the right (respect the recommendations of pedagogical counsel) to enter the university by results of interlocution (interview).

Graduates of Preliminary (preparatory) faculty take part in general entry competition (on the appropriate faculties of the university) by results of final examinations that have been conducted by joint commission with the university entrance examination commission.

The reception of the entrants from polluted areas (fatal consequences of Chernobil's ecocatastrophe) is conducting according to the Regulation "About the status and social maintenance of the citizenry that suffered from the consequences of Chernobil's ecocatastrophe" (the low of Ukraine of 19.12.1991, modifications and alterations of 01.07.1992 and of 06.06.1996).

The purposeful entrance is organized on the basis of the agreements between university and enterprises, establishments and organizations. The number of places for target reception is segregated by decision of the university Reception Commission, but their number should not exceed 25 % of the total number of planned reception (on every specialty).

The purposeful entrants can be take in (enlisted), if they successfully have passed entrance examinations and passed competition, they can be enlisted on places segregated for oblast or organization etceteras, according to the Instructions of the entrance to the university. But the purposeful entrants that have not passed competition on purposeful places (but have passed entrance exams) can take part in competition on general conditions.

Education at the university is carrying out by Ukrainian. The persons that were not certified on Ukrainian (on conditions that they were enlisted to the university) should study Ukrainian on the first course (the first academic year) and then pass the exam.

By decision of the university Reception Commission, university entrants can be enlisted in excess of the government contractual plan if they successfully passed entrance exams but failed competition and their education is financing by appropriate juridical persons or natural persons. Payment for education and enrolment is carrying out in period defined by contract.

Hors concurs can be enlisted children-orphans, and children without parents guardianship, disabled (handicapped) persons of 1 and 2 groups, persons with privileges given by the Low of Ukraine (if they successfully passed the entrance exams), according to the Regulation "About the status and social maintenance of the citizenry that suffered from the consequences of Chernobil's ecocatastrophe" (the low of Ukraine of 19.12.1991, modifications and alterations of 01.07.1992 and of 06.06.1996), the Regulation "About the status and social maintenance of the citizenry that are war veterans" (the low of Ukraine of 22.12.1995, modifications and alterations of 14.07.1999).

The students of the daytime form of education of all directions of preparation and specialties (that are enlisted on the places prescribed by the government) should perform military training in the Military institute of the university on the voluntary basis. The students of the daytime form of education that study against contract can perform military training in the Military institute under the condition of conclusion appropriate additional agreement (contract).

Students of daytime form of education are provided with hospice.

Reception of the documents on daytime and correspondence forms of education is carrying out from June 8 till July 4. The documents about privileges should be placed at university's disposal only in this term.

Entrance examinations are carrying out from July 5 till July 18.

Enlisting is carrying out from July 19 till July 25.

The period of education at the university on daytime form is 4 years (for bachelor), 5 years (for expert), 5-6 years (for master); on the correspondence form: 5 years (for bachelor), 6 years (for expert, master).
